Disneyland has always been better than Disneyworld. While Disneyland (and Disney’s California Adventure which is right across the street) packs all the good rides together, Disneyworld and its associated parks (collectively called the Magic Kingdom) tend to spread things out a bit since they have so much land to work with. I’m not knowledgeable enough to get into specifics like Deb is, but the key points for me are that Pirates is indeed better in Land, Land tends to get new rides first, and California Adventure has restaurants where you can buy alcohol without leaving the park. Club 33 only exists in Land, though the chances of most mortals getting into that are slim (note: Andy, can you hook a brother up?). That said, World has some things going for it, like that great coaster at Animal Kingdom, and the fact that you have a full selection of animatronic presidents to rub yourself on.
