A Johnny Mnemonic series would work if they stuck to cyberpunk’s noir-ish feel – lots of underworld activity, rebel against the social status quo, etc.
Lucas was upset at the Green Rabbit in the comics, Marvel defended the choice saying that the creature was backround in a McQuarrie concept painting somewhere.
Thunderbird was the character that appeared in the New X-Men of the late 70’s. Warpath was his brother with exactly the same powers who came a long years later, possibly because for a brief moment of time Marvel was tired of resurrecting every dead character around.
