I watch Storage Wars for Brandy… and I make sure the T.V. is on mute.
Hey guys, I just listened to the show (great as always) and at one point you read an article about genetic mutations basically making us dumber because of the lack of need for intelligence, and as you progressed in your discussion Paul said why cook? What do you get out of it? A sense of accomplishment? This on the surface may seem like just another throw away question, but if you think about it and dig deeper it leads to an obvious answer that we as a human race have yet to embrace. What happens when you reach the end of a video game? It ends you’ve one and playing it again is almost pointless because there’s no new story adventure or opposition, and I know at this point your wondering what conspiracy theory is this but stick with me, the same is true for the world we now live in. We don’t need to survive the only reason why we have conflict still is because of people trying to prove that they as an individual are better than another person, if you take away that we are left with a lot of time and nothing to do because we have already “won” there is no creature on our planet right now that poses a threat, there isn’t anything that poses a threat. The reason why we have been engulfed by this flood of media is because we have grown bored of the world we live in. You can do what ever you want but there’s no point in doing it, nothing matters we just don’t relize it yet
I love this insight, Jman! I think you may be right. It reminds me of the situation in the current comic book run of the walking dead. They have pretty much figured out how to be safe from zombies but how can you be safe from other people? They are the real threat after you “win” against the undead. I think disease and natural disasters are the only real threats left, outside of man made weapons.
I guess what im trying to say is do what you want to do because nothing else really matters
If you pay $250 for a new Castle Grayskull you should immediately be taxed at a higher rate.
Skoli,
I am taxed by having to lug thousands of pounds of plasic shit with me every time I move.
“Arrow” really has been quite good despite the added CW soap.
